Here is your chance to get involved in the process!

The Capital Football Board has a vacancy for an “appointed” Board member.  The Board intends to convene a Selection Committee to appoint a person to fill this vacancy (as provided for in Capital Football's rules).

Accordingly, the Board seeks expressions of interest from persons interested in the vacant position for a Board member.  The Board welcomes all applications for the position, which will be passed on to the Selection Committee for consideration.

Please provide a CV and any relevant skill sets that would support your application

Applications can be emailed to Phil Barry, Deputy Chair Capital Football Board at Phil.Barry@tdb.co.nz.

Applications close 5pm Monday 20 January 2014.

Again, not a lot of help here. so it is maybe made up of 5 people?
Of that list I recognise Hellon Mellon (NW)
I cant seem to see it listed anywhere on the CF website.

these appointed positions have never made me feel that the board is as functional to its membership as it could be, As they select who they want which might not be what the membership want or need….. 

but in your case a exception to this dislike might be on the cards if you get in and shake things up a bit for the better...

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving
