My best guess, given the season starts Friday

3. Upper Hutt
4 Tawa
5 Olympic
6 Miramar
7 Island Bay
8 Wests
9 Lower Hutt
10 Wellington United

Well this isn't going to happen, but you know, why not.

1. Stop Out
2. Miramar
3. Wests
4. Olympic
5. Island Bay
6 . United
7 North Wellington
8 Upper Hutt
9, Lower Hutt
10. Tawa

Regardless, this looks like a tasty division.

to be fair it's hard to call. I'm completely bias and for the mere fact they have signed a new backup keeper lol. My blinkers will not be removed in that regard.

Lower Hutt have some very talented youngsters, but when they faced IBU last year it was too hard against a bigger side.

Looking like it will be a very interesting and close league though, looking forward to it.

Might slide Olympic up into third. Remains to be seen how Wests do, effectively becoming their third side

The players that left United to go to Olympic are playing in their third team in Cap 1 or 2

picked up a couple from Stop Out and a couple of younger guys from Olympic and Gonzalo Amado will be playing this season (he was just coaching last year due to injury). Leo Villa's still with us as well

Some interesting results from yesterday! I watched IBU vs Norths. IBU were fairly average first half but finished strong and should have won. Good game.

I caught about the last 20 minutes of that game. Was very unpleasantly surprised by the poor quality on offer.

I see Wests are currently last. I'm going to laugh mightily hard if West second get relegated because their players are with Wainui, who themselves get relegated.

Could that potentially be the best thing for Ole though? Having a team in Central League, Cap Prem and Cap 1 ?

Why laugh? They should be applauded for getting three teams from their academy into the top two local leagues - no other club or academy in the country could pull that off

Should they be applauded for showing scant disregard for the traditions of the local game?

I think it's beginning to show that they've stretched themselves far too thin - and the results are a strong indicator of that.

Why did Wests show disregard? Wainui are the ones not holding up their end of the deal.

It’s not West’s showing disregard but Ole. West’s weren’t overly pleased about the deal Ole did with Wainui. Had nothing to do with West’s, other than the fact they lost a bunch of guys who would have made up their cap prem side.

More young players playing senior football - isn't that what NZF and Danny Hay want?

Would you prefer a "proper" first team at Wainui with older players getting paid to play which we know is unsustainable once the money dries up?

Guys..... He's kind of got a point.

New league could bare fruit in a couple of years.

2B would prefer that they only played U17s and won 10-0 each week - they will learn more from losing than cruising

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

So UH beat Uni on pens to stay in Prem.
If someone can work out how the top grades look next year that would be great.
