Potentially plenty of travel in that league huh? Maybe Marist are making a wise choice. 

I bet all Wellington teams are hoping Te Kotahitanga can pull one over Gisborne

Yes potentially a lot of travel but my guess is that over the next few years it will end up like Central League 1, with there only being 1 or 2 teams from outside the Wellington region, which, kinda defeats the whole point of the league being created in the first place? 

You would hope that Te Kotahitanga can beat Gisborne. A lot more "neutral" TK fans for that game, surely!
