I believe clubs had to let Capital Football know at the beginning of the season or at least earlier in the year if they wanted to not be apart of CL2 and the potential play offs (if they were to hypothetically at that point make it). Reserve teams are ineligible for CL2.
Marist opted out of this earlier in the year which means Douglas Villa take the first Cap 1 spot and Vic Uni the second.
