Anyone actually got a source about Wellington United asking to play professionals? Not much point slagging them off if it's not even true.

[/quote] Doubt it is Wgtn United asking. I know to get the weeNix into summer league talk was direct between Nix and NZF. So I assume if this request is going in, it is not United fronting it, so innocent party.

What you on about?

I am quite surprised that there has not been any comment about the Phoenix move to try and get approval to play 3 x U20 professionals in the Central League in 2016. The players would front up for Wellington United.

This could have huge ramifications for the league.

I personally am against the move - as many people here know I am a stickler for the rules - and I can't see any way that the FIFA statute regarding the status of players would allow this.

You do the same as me don't read back enough

No I'm asking what you on about. Utd and Nix are the same thing for this team

Yer right so how does the United committee control the coach and influence his selection of the "Clubs" developing players. ?? And how many committee members voted on "This proposal if in fact it is a fact"
