My 2 cents (I know not a lot about this matter)... Nix players stay contracted to the Nix and get spread amongst central league teams in some form of draft system. Sounds fun to me. Also acts as a way to give the weaker (financially) teams a stronger position in the league. Problems arising from promotion/relegation but one problem at a time eh.
