This is open-invite as far as I know, and I'd encourage everyone to get along and ask questions.  These are the guys who run your sport for you - give them your input.

This is well worth attending. It gives everyone a chance to talk to CF outside the more formal environment of an AGM. And no I don't work for them.

Next round of the Chatham Cup will be drawn at the info evening tonight for the Wellington region.

Of course as we already know Central Region clubs get another free pass to the next round.  Joke.

someone should have put in a remit that CF replace some of the horrible goal posts out there

Your not wrong there, they should have negotiated with the councils about posts ages ago

I am under the impression CF own most of the posts out there, so ultimately the Clubs will pay.

This $20 transfer fee. Apart from the fact its existence flew undetected past all the club administraors I was sitting next to (and I was unaware), it is not a justified cost that clubs should have to pay.

Its a new cost (any transfer post March 1) and it will cost clubs crap loads. I do remember a mention about a cost for transfers at a meeting last year - but pretty sure they talked about it kicking in at a date well after the season commences. Who does transfer pre-March?

If transfers aren't a part of the competition fees that we pay our subs fror then I don't know what is..

Lets hope they will pay the clubs a fee plus penalty when they double register players and create problems.Hogster2010-04-27 08:48:37

I cant see anything mentioned in the minutes in Dec. Just the Regs in Mid March. Just refuse to pay saying they weren't done within four days.

Did anyone notice we have a new Board member?  Does anyone know who he is or how he got there?

(Actually, I do, his name's Justin and he plays for HHH United/is an Island Bay lad).

He's only been on the Board for the last 10 months or so. Appointed member - CF Board called for nominations in June last year. Justin was one of the nominations, and was supported by IBU AFC.
