Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I was at the Wellington Utd/Stop Out game last Saturday. There were some old hands talking. I heard one say that he has been connected with his club since 1953. 1953!!

Which club was he with as i recall there used to be a Wellington Utd as the forunner of WDU when I was a nipper.Having been out of the area for sometime,I have lost track of alot of the 'goings on, soccer wise,' around the fine city.Still trying to get my head around the Central League as that has changed dramatically since my playing days.....

Not sure on the Hollandia,(therefore it was probably first),but Diamonds were one club and Wellington Utd were another. They amalgamated to form WDU...But then again, age is not being kind to the memory...Now I'm trying to recall who it was Hungaria amalgamated with to form Wellington City...

Zealandia as a name rings a bell, more so than Hollindia. If I got of my arse and dug around the garage,I may be able to work it out as I've got most of the NZ soccer annuals out there.(Excellent publication 60s-80s.)

That was a very busy time for Wellington City players in those days more so off the field than on! especially with Spats Nightclub as a sponsor!
