Poland not coming this time. They've sent an email saying that now they are the National Champions they thought they'd give someone else a go. They may be in ChCh (The Poland team that is) but it still means that Wellington are the National Community League Champions

Culture Kicks is closing in and starts in less than 13 days!! (on Sunday the 20th of March)

It'll be a day of Fun, Food and the colourful Culture of Football.

We've got plenty of nations represented this year but there is room for more! Another change from last year is we've opened up a grade for MIXED TEAMS so there is space for only 12 of those so hurry to get REGISTERED

The cost is $125 per team and you'll get at least 5 games. The winners get to represent Wellington at the Community Nation Cup hosted by the NZ Police.

Come along and play or come along and watch.
Finals will be held the following week as part of Global Fest at Waitangi Park.

You can register here and payments are due now! Check out the opposition here SportZone2011-03-07 20:49:11

What coach? You don't need a coach to play football! Just a ball and some players.

See you at McEwan Park on Thursdays at 1pm then. Bring your team.

Well we do like to get our "Football is the World's Culture" message out to the masses and couldn't compete with the Ultimate Global Champs on at Martin Luckie on the same day.

Somalia finally got their name back on the trophy after defeating Mix Nations United in the Final. The plate final was won by Meke with a win over Dynamo Massey.

FULL RESULTS are here. Click the finals link for those results.
