Would you prefer the premier club competition in Wellington be the current structure of the Central League or the old Federation Premier league structure?

I would love to see all the Wellington teams competing for a local trophy.  For more spice throw in  playoff system i.e., final four.  I think most players get up for the local games and travellig is not as much fun as it used to be, it is now up and back.  I doubt that it would become a EPL situation where only 2 or 3 teams would win each year. Currently there does not appear to be much of a difference between the top 6 local sides in the CL.

Take it from someone who is currently experiencing the US1 Premiership, you'd be far better off to keep the Central League.

Three for me, and two for them.

or olympic, and if Karori got back in quite a few current CL players head over there... Not a big fan of Wharfies but not to long ago they were a force in Wgtn football and they have a great set-up currently...  After these guys there would be a slight gap to I Bay, Tawa etc.. but not much.  I would expect that Wests and Mar would actually weaken with more options open to TW players...

more teams tho, make the season longer.

12 teams maybe?

Wests
Miramar
Olympic
Lower Hutt
Tawa
Island Bay
Wharfies
Petone
Wgtn United
Stop Out
Wairarapa
undecided on 12th team.....Marist? Wainui? lol

top team wins the league and goes to the grand final

4 plays 3 in a knockout final, winner of this plays 2 for a spot
in the final against the Minor Premiers.

That, my friends, would add some spice.

As much as it would in fact be a hiding to nothing for some teams, surely
these clubs want to be playing at the highest level possible......thats what
is important. Yes only 4 or 5 teams could win it, but so be it.....im sure the
Tawas and Island Bays of this world wouldnt mind another crack at an "upset".

2 extra weeks of football for all but 4 teams, 5 extra weeks for the 2 teams that
make the final. That could be a sticking point for some but hey 1 idea is not going
to please everyone is it?

4 more weeks you mean.  I would suspect that the Council has big say on when the season starts and finishes so i doubt there is much room for Capital Football to move.
