Welcome to the newest and bestest competition in Wellington Football.

Yellow Fever introduce the Fever Club Championships.

Celebrate being Wellingtons most winningest club with your team mates, whilst drinking for free at Four Kings out of the insanely large Fever Club Championship Trophy. Yes thats right a $1000 bar tab at Four Kings.

If your club has six or more CF senior teams, then you are eligible. Well be keeping track on what club has the most points per game played so make sure you get out there for your club team and help boost your clubs chances. Lets see who the 2009 Club Champions are!

Any idea who would have won this award last season Feverish?  Wharfies, perhaps?

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Clubs must have a playable home ground to win.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

It's for football teams, not swim teams.

Wharfies are hoping the Wimmins super team will carry the others.

I'd say bigger clubs will find it tougher - so it's unlikely given Karori are the biggest. Feverish2009-04-03 10:51:11

Wests have 5 I think - 1st team, reserves, something in Cap 9, and two masters? Six if you count their wimmin.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Seatoun are right... wimmins and masters get them over the line.  Likewise Wests.

I think Eastbourne and Porirua are unlucky to miss out, but it makes it to small a sample and one team could give them a win.  The numbers are based on a similar trophy in another sport.

I'd like to say us at Varsity have a chance but given there are 2-3 sets of Uni holidays during the season it's doubtful, and as Feverish says the big clubs will have it tough.

I'm going to pick a darkhourse and say Seatoun or Wainui.

Seatoun would have won it last year.  I'll work on progress after week one sometime later in the week.

News can you please graph that as discussed...

Doesn't really look too exciting when it reads like the Fever Account balance.

The reason I don't want to do it is that Naenae lead last week and I know every team except the firsts had a win at the weekend so I suspect the top of the table won't have changed.

Some of us don't (well, not much).

I'll whip up a spreadsheet and get some graphs going.

No more pink for Karori, and it looks like the winner and the loser both changed. My data could be wrong...
