Paying players has been discussed ad nauseam.
So just a quick reply to the Stop Out comment above. All of the clubs are paying players are they not? What they are doing is no different to any other?
If a club doesn't pay they DO NOT ATTRACT players. Sad but true.
No they arent is the short answer. If they develop their own players the do not need to "attract" players from other clubs. Also players are attracted to clubs for many reasons other than money.

More accurately perhaps...   If a club doesn't pay, in the current climate, they DO NOT ATTRACT players.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Still untrue.

Three for me, and two for them.

Seems to me to be to be a bit of YES and NO in this.
There are plenty of local examples of players "seeking the shilling"  and GETTING IT, whilst at the same time there are some who wouldn't leave a club for anything.

I dont think it is whether it is a yes or no but the amount that some clubs seem to pay a few players other then a win bonus and get nothing in return.

Tell me a story about a player who gets paid a weekly amount and then puts time effort back into a club at a junior level. Then I for one will shut up.

Other than the flights... club members have looked after these players.

well the flights would have been considerable. And unless they threw them in a broom closet and never fed them - then there are still costs involved for the club (members or whatever).
******

Anyway - I dont give a rats as I think bring in an import is a decent concept - just calling you up on yuor comment.

The game could've gone either way. KCU hit the crossbar twice and had 2 goals disallowed. Both teams ending up 10 players.
