It has been a while since we have had a Central League "Game of the weekend", so I thought I'd resurrect it.  Only 1 game to consider this weekend - Wests vs Miramar.  First vs second, upper class vs lower class, catholic vs protestant, east vs west.  A true clash of the titans.

In my humble opinion, it will be a draw.  Rangers has strengthened since the first meetings (a 4-0 trashing to Wests) with the addition of Dicey, Halstead, etc, while Wests will be short a few players from what I have heard.

A draw would be a good result but I think Miramar will get up 2-1 with Dom Rowe bagging another double.

Id like to throw Wharfies vs Upper Hutt out there.

Lets be serious, Rooker vs Peewee is a mouth-watering prospect.

Rooker will eat him

Assuming he doesn't get sent off again.

Although I believe Peewee will dominate as the games likely to be played under 3 metres of water, and Peewee "loves that s**t"

3rd and 8th are mid table to me, in a 10 team league.

1st and 2nd = top
9th and 10th = bottom
everything else = mid table

O's vs SO is likely to be less one-sided than your feature match Frankie.

credit to wests, thats pretty much the league right there, dnt no how both games ended up in convincing wins however as they have been evenly fought.should be a bit tighter inthe big one next week

Next weeks game will be totally different for sure and I am expecting another classic Chatham Cup encounter..... Wests looked strong with Roddy Brown and Sam Peters (20s) back in the mix and a couple of the senior players and the U17s return - competition for positions will be tough and Miramar will have there work cut out....still it aint over till its over....and Miramar will be competitive!
