Any great goals out there this weekend? Did you score a stunning bicycle kick in div 11? Did you see a defender do a coast-to-coast in div 2? tell everyone about it here..

have to mention richie bourke's goal for us on Friday. he has screamed down the wing at ludicrous pace, cut in a touch and then just smashed one from an absurd angle and about 30 yards into the far top corner. an absolute screamer

Yes Marius, I must agree.....was standing on that touchline as he screamed past, beat his man and cut inside.  The goal was an absolute cracker and a pleasure to watch.....

He also made a similar run and cross that resulted in your finish to take the lead at 2-1.....but the two free kicks bent around the wall to win it 3-2 and complete his hattrick by Hendo (Endo??) were also highlights and were both great goals in an enthralling match at Naenae Park.

It all changed in my eyes when Piney went off......

I thought that was an awesome goal from your striker too, I actually switched from my side to mark him towards the end of the game but I didn't really end up doing much, should of switched earlier, I should match him for pace, Though endos 1st goal was brilliant vision.

Divison 8
North Wellington 4- Wgtn Utd Salmon 3
7 goals- 6 of which were scrappy affairs- (2 were actually penalties) but the Salmon's equaliser at 1-1 was a pearler from Ian Wilson, United's francophone Winger.

Receiving the ball on halfway after a turnover, Ian pushed it passed his marker, ignored the pleas of his two strikers, and took on the last man who pushed him wide with an attempted ankle trip, but Ian stood firm unleashing a daisy cutter into the opposite corner- well done that man!

Unfortunately Salmon wilted in the sun like yesterday's sushi

Errrr yeah, but we were leading 1-0 at that stage and I was the goalkeeper....
