i love the fever, i love the forum. but why is it we are always bagging people etc?
 
why not the best wellington grounds or the best wellington players wearing orange boots?

is that sarcasm g.e?! hahahaha i best hope not!

i love jim, even tho i called him an f**kin crook and the worst ref in town.....the heta of the moment.....it gets to me! hats off to him, he forgave me......as far as i remember!

as a kid growing up the #1 ground was huge (being full size)compared to the #2 ground (which is what we generally played on as kids) so you felt like big central league players rather than college kids, never been sent off though

Not in the slightest, the best thing about watching games he's officiating is that you would hardly notice he was there.

and if I remember he's a good scotsman, like one half of my fine self.

i also remember enjoying Dennis (?) Wilsons style of ref'ing.....before he disappeared off
the face of the earth.

Scots make the best refs, Barber. Everybody knows that.

Completely agree about Jim. Top ref and a bloody nice bloke.

in terms of wellington capital prem league and the big travel central league
 
Best pre  match venue: wharfies clubies for a cooked breaky
Best post match venue: wharfies or island bay(seem to last the longest and have the most teams there on av)
Best away match venue(to play at): newtown #1 
Best sports equipment supplier: Champs
Best team supporters : the bubbles when the are winning (that bloody bell)
Best dressing rooms: porirua park (wests)
best showers: tawa

Best post match venue: Dave Wilsons House
Best away match venue(to play at): Newtown Park
Best sports equipment supplier: Whoever the clubs says "go to them"
Best team supporters: LHCAFC (COME ON YOUUUUU YELLOW!)
Best dressing rooms: Endeavour coz they are massive! lol - ok Porirua Park
Best showers: Newtown Park when they arent flooding.

They are even better now.  Have been renovated over the off season
