besides, half the Uni boys were new guys from trials who never played together or for the club. Karori deserved the win, but Dave you forgot to mention that we hit the bar twice and the Karori GK made at least 2 great saves in the 2nd half. In regards to the older fella and Shmidt, the former played about 10', the latter 5'.

But anyway, well done to Karori and a well deserved win.

Brodie (the old guy) played the thick end of half an hour.

Wharf had one shambolic scramble off the line but were otherwise untroubled.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I remember sending Brodie Wilson off at Karori Park about 10 years ago. Just saying. Carry on.Jag2011-03-08 09:45:11

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Come on, we hit the crossbar and the Karori keeper saved a header, and their third was offside

Alright tournament for us. Probably more useful than if we had played in Div 2 like we were going to.

The Tarrantula pulled out a great save late, followed by Comedy Capstick clear off the line.

I said I was wandering between matches and it was just a brief overview of the amusing items I spotted in my wanderings.

he was lucky "our" midget - myself-  had already left the pitch otherwise you would have seen a good fight! :D
Jokes aside, I've seen the kid play before (he is federation I think) and he's a very good player. The coach probably did well not risking him, though it doesn't get any better than when you're 3-0 up with about 20' to go to play your youngsters!

Well done!  Juggling the draw so that Upper Hutt fans can't see both their A & B teams games.

Yeah that looks particularly stupid, considering that Monday is pretty much a B grade day.

Only excitment in the game was when the lino ran into the corner flag and gave hiomself a hell of a fright (yes that was you Jamie Cross)

The question is with Team Wellington not playing this week who will bring out the big guns?

Question is how is Sam Jewell not number 2 at Team Wellington after pulling out four saves from four in the last round shoot out.

Tawa will definitely be bringing out all of their TW players.  Lance will be in goal.

so he should be in team cause he can save penaltys?... im sorry lance couldn't prove he was good enough for his team wellington spot cause tawa didn't need a shootout.

Should have been 6-2. Hutt were having a game of crossbars and Tawa missed a couple of relatively easy chances
