Ive tried to do a bit of research and not really come up with a great deal so far.. Anyone able to shed any history on the Venus Shield???

This is a magnificent piece for those priviledged enough to have won, seen and  held. Ive just finished polishing it for our prize giving tomorrow night and wow is she special. Spent most the night getting all Pineys Beer stains off it from last year!!

Seems a shame to not  know a great deal about it and yet has been in the Wellington Football community since 1891

Anyone got anything to add at all?

Stoked to get Upper Hutt on such a fantastic piece of Wellington Football History!
