it would be interesting to see how he would play at that level,  I think he would give them the hurry up, he's the quickest lad in Central League at the moment.

The article was written by Nicolas Boyack, great guy but not a sports writer.  I would treat his "A League" comment with a very large pinch of salt.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I'm the guy you're talking about, I didn't once say that I was good enough to play A league or for team wellington, I haven't seen the teams play and I dunno how good the standard is and your probably right I aint good enough but as for the I may be quick, but no A-team player comment, ask all the teams I've played in the last 5 or 6 weeks, they've all been worried enough to put at least 3 players on me as soon as Ive picked up the ball and im playing in a struggling team. Mirimar nextup...I hope i aint putting pressure  on myself lol

Ason, are you going to try and pursue an NZFC contract?  ps:  don't think anyone was having a go at you, more the fact that because of the limitation on the number of foreign players allowed in the Phoenix squad it is physically impossible to sign anyone else from overseas, which makes the comments in the article by Boyack a bit uninformed.

Good luck for the weekend, have a look at the Central League thread for more discussion!

I just talked to someone that knows this fella. Happy 21st I hear. I think I saw him vs the Greeks and he looked pretty dangerous as he takes players on. Won the penalty I think, as sounds like defenders prefer to chop him.

No ones havin a go at you at all, infact it must be of a general understanding that you are quite good. I think you should definitly try and pick up a NZFC contract with someone, would be good to see you go up against sides who are confident enough not to put more than one defender on you.
Good luck to ya!

I was having a laugh with the pressure comment...... Bestcase scenario I do well and getta offered a pro contract(which I doubt), at worse I go home and get forgotten and in the middle stop out may want me to play for them again so there's no pressure out here. I haven't really given much thought to gettin an NZFC contract though, haven't been here long enough or played well enough

ace, seen you play twice now and you've carved up; great stuff.  best import at stop out since martin packer... (will happily fill you in on that story at a later time)

i must ask, what happenned on saturday?  you were playing well, causing problems and then seemed to go off your nut?  that said, players do that all of the time, so why did findles decide drag you?

It (the substitution) looked a bit over the top to me; players argue all of the time on the pitch and I'm sure you just needed a minute to calm down and get on with running at defenders.  Must have been the co-coach you were arguing with huh!?
