Island Bay United is looking for expressions of interest in taking part in our expanded 9 aside Summer league competition commencing in November 2013
The purpose of the Summer League is to facilitate football during the summer in a fun, safe and a not too serious environment.
Historically it has been used to give younger players an opportunity to play with more mature and experienced players, and for friends of differing abilities to combine into a team.
It is not designed for homogeneous First team entries.
All games will be held on the Wakefield Park turf, on 2/3 size fields but full size goals.
Game dates (Saturdays, Kickoffs between 12:00 – 16:30) :
November: 2,9,16,23,30
December: 7
January: 18,25
February: 1,15
Cost per team is $850.00
The costs cover:
• Referee support
• All games on the turf
• A quality team match ball
• Finals BBQ
Teams must provide their own strip. (Team Shirts can be sourced, if given appropriate notice, at a cost of approx. $500.00)
There is no restriction in regard to squad size (further rules a regulations will be available prior to competition commencement)
The final competition format is dependent on the number of teams entered, but we are limited to maximum of 16 teams.

The $850.00 team entry fee must be received by Wednesday 23-Oct, without exception.
Only those teams who have completed the team payment will be entered into the draw. (No pay / No play)
Entries will be closed once 16 teams have made payment.
