Lower Hutt beat olympic with a near 'b' team. No Madden, Blackburn and Mcpeak. It was a tough game, but Lower Hutt showed they had more depth when the subs they bought on made an impact.

Mason was 1st goal scorer so if you bet on him good pick.

I wouldnt say B team but ye they were good. Olympics team was pulled together last minute with a few new players so ye. Lower hutt deserved win but ye 2-1 up shldnt have given such soft goals.

bro thats the greeks. Ofcourse opposition supporters will give u sh*t, they were prob just trying to get u off ur game and that. Strong result for Petone - perhaps the Capital Premier players bringing in their experience is paying divies.

Miramar result as expected - will be very strong in Upper Hutt and Napier tournaments.

Lower Hutt will also be ready with all their experience from Central and Cap League.

Olympic will always put out a good team (even on passion alone) but not sure where their experience will come from.

Wests are quietly going about there business but have had a young team for the last couple of years so will be interesing how they pan out in the buildup.   

Overall I think Wellington club teams will field some worthy teams capable of giving the AK teams a run for their money this year in Napier.

Hopefully. Money on Central to take it out again but hopefully a welly team does.

How come i read that the games are only 25 mins each way? Has it always been this way? Seems a bit short to me.

For Napier it is. OR is it usally 30-35??? I dont this it was that short fk cant remember.

It said on the Manawatu Red Sox website that for 2007 it is 25 each way i mean i just think it's a little too short i mean 30 or 35 would be ideal.

always been 25 mate. bit harder to have it any longer at a weekend tournament. makes the games fast and entertaining also.

final is longer i think but 25 is enuf its one of the hardest tournys to play in napier cant make it longer ivan england is normal 45
