Little club with big heart seeks keeper for winter sports and good times. Tall, dark, and handsome preferable. Will consider short, talented, and mysterious. All ages and allegiances considered, but must take charge in the box. No prima donnas.

What my friend meant to say was BNU is looking for a goal keeper for its first team after nasty Karori stole its other one.

They have got a new coach (Frank Klement) this year who is looking to put the team back in champs premier by end of next year and see it competitive there.

He is looking for players who are willing to work hard, to learn, and who play team football.

Last time Frank coached for BNU he took them from Super League to Central League III, then Central League II, and only just missed out on promotion to Central I. He also won the Hilton Petone Cup for the club.

He is a really competitive and successful coach who is good at developing players.

If you want to play for BNU (and especially if you are a goal keeper) give him a call on 027 227 8466 or pop along to training, Tuesday and Thursday, 6pm, Prince of Wales Park (lower field).

I am perfectly capable of speaking for myself thank you very much!

(but those of you can't read between the lines, Fandilicious does sum it up monotonously well)

I reside in Wellington.

I think you should say that you need a new keeper after you had fourteen straight losses last year, got relegated, and your whole team left including your coaches - and not try and discredit another club.

ps good luck for the season - would be good to see you back in Prem next year

BNU KEEPER SWEETENER ANNOUNCED!!

In addition to all the obvious attractions about playing for BNU this year in its heroic pursuit of Capital One glory, this season's first team keeper will receive a free Retro Ricki (yes, the orginal collector's item) as well as a FEATURE INTERVIEW on the Yellow Fever podcast! And Ill even throw in the right to choose the podcast's intro song (now that is hallowed turf!).

And if you're the type that shies away from such celebrity profile and media hype, then just come and play football.

You'd have to go back on air, and it didn't end well for you last time now, did it ?

Is this Situations Vacant or Lonely Hearts? Hard to work out...

If there are any keepers in Hamilton thinking "if only I lived in Wellington..." West Hamilton are on the lookout for a "custodian" too.

We play in the Waikato A comp, and have a few other excursions before and after the season. Gloves provided, and a nice long sleeve shirt. Our first choice keeper from last year has moved out of town.

Excellent rate of remuneration (is unlikely)
All the usual perks (are sadly missing)
A great bunch of guys (at least this bit is true)

PM me or just waltz on down to Weka Street where we train every Thursday at 6:30pm.

I might as well join in.....

Anyone interested in playing for Pukekohe AFC this season, PM me!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
