Maybe Mainland should start looking to employ people with common sense when it comes to organising the draws and competitions!
Seems to be lacking with the Women's Div 1 & Div 2 as Christchurch Utd have been moved down after 4 games and Hornby up having played 5.....
Whilst it does seem fair enough a bit with Utd's results, Hornby get to keep the 15 points they've gained in div 2 and take over Utd's remaining fixtures. The issue..... Utd have played 3 of the leagues top teams (who are a cut above all bar one others) so effectively Hornby get 15 points (putting them joint top!) from games they would have realistically expected to challenge to get 3 points maximum from! They are then left to play the easier teams in the league, whom with only 4/5 games of the round left would struggle to catch them!
Adding in the top teams in the league have an enlarged goal difference as a result of having played Utd, teams that were forced to move up to Div 1 before the season started are being hard done by again!
Crikey dick.
