Suburbs and Western was 0-0. Nelson were reasonably dominant but couldn't create enough genuine goal scoring opportunities

Today's result:

Nelson Suburbs 0 Western 0

Points: Coastal Spirit 13, Cashmere Technical 12, Nelson Suburbs 8, Western 7, Universities 6, Ferrymead Bays 6, Halswell 4, ChCh United 1.

We've got a new team at the club that had to start in Div 6 and they won 18-0...

Were the goals shared around? Or does Hans have a rival to take the club golden boot off him?

apologies  that was re the below

the observer
Trialist

having taken in the coastal and Halswell game (who had mostly reserves playing) and the Cash Tech and Nelson game over the weekend with Cash Tech fielding half a reserve team, as much as the league is tight now when Cash Tech bring back in their regular players I can't see them being topped over the course off the season

Haha funny. We've got a few changes to our team as some have gone on to further their football. I'll still pick us to win (obviously) but it should be a whole lot closer than usual.

I think the WPL will be a genuine 3 way  go. Where as  CTFC will run way with the MPL

Do hope Selwyn get a few results, great to see their years of Preperation (hopefully) pay off. Surely Waimak up to WPL 2016?

Coastal, CTFC, Uni top3.

Selwyn v Hornby today - After going 1-0 after a couple mins, Selwyn pulled the game back and finished with a 6-1 win.  Hat trick to Dan Ede.  Hornby Keeper was exceptional - keeping the score to under 10.

The Ground was terrible though - Black line marking - no ropes, still fairly long grass, fairly ordinary.

Also - Selwyn WPL won 3-1 against Western - good result for their first game.

halswell were very ordinary. Coey in goal for nelson is a beast. Halswell keeper on the other hand inspires no confidence in his backline

Can anyone shed some light on the news tht Dantè is quitting football....rumour has it tht he walked away from his game yesterday and has told a few he's not playing football anymore. Would be a shame if it is true.

Dante from Bayern? I think maybe a bit more detail might be required? Not everyone here is on first name terms with everyone else...

Why have I not heard anything from any coastal fans for the past day?

Is it you're busy or just that they got an absoluting dicking in the weekend....

Didn't get to the game and haven't seen a match report - anyone? Going on what I've seen over the past couple of weeks wasn't surprised to see the result. Coastal still a fairly young side overall and need more games like this consistently to find out how to win against the top sides. Congratulations to Tech, normal service resumes ?

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Dante didn't make it off the bench for the Cash Tech reserves on Saturday which understandably he was not happy about. Needs perhaps a better attitude as he does think he is a lot better than he is and thinks where ever he goes he should be in the first team. Be a bitty to see him quit though as he is a talented lad.

Didn't see the game but I heard they were fairly comfortable with the 2-0 win over Parklands. A number of younger players having their first/ less than 10  starts so pretty sure Alana will be OK with the result.

I heard that CashTech had to forfeit after violating the recent FIFA amendments around having an maximum volume of ginger pubis per team. Or do you wax your "bishops hat" mate?

Also, what is an "absoluting" dicking? Is that different to a regular one?

Gingers are the best at this time of year keeping everyone warm for free at cold trainings and games

Don't be jealous we won 3 0. Absolute dicking wow maybe like 40 shots to 1 is an absolute dicking? You from planet retards are us?

doubt it's any one from Tech to be honest we have never been on here shouting off about winning , certainly defending our selfs to jibes like the wee symbol above . The coastal lads were on here last week posting about being top of the league and having beating a fellow club 6 zip , and that is there right to do so . we ask the lads to not come on here to scream of our wins even when there is something on it. Do doubt it's not any of the tech lads, and who ever it is take Jordan's name off because it certainly isn't him, and the coastal lads probably haven't worked that out yet, so un fair on a lad that goes about his football causing no fuss to get slagged off nameless face,s
