I'm hearing FC beat Selwyn 6 zip in Div 1? Sounds almost too good to be true!! But if so MPL here we come :)
I find it funny how people are starting to think that FC have the league sewn up yet whilst they have it in their own hands so do Nomads!
Next weekends game between the 2 could be an interesting battle. An FC win then yes the league is all but over, a Nomads win and FC will be needing other teams, possibly even Selwyn, to take points off Nomads.
In terms of the Selwyn debates going on above, whilst I haven't seen the full ins and outs of their 1st team recently, you guys have certainly come a long way in the past few seasons from being one of the teams in the lower reaches of div 1 to challenging at the top.
From the outside it looks as though the club have certainly got their house in order and are working the right way to develop and go forward, which overall is great to see in Christchurch
