Glenn must keep the young FC squad together and say no to those egos who left the club when it needed them. I hear some now want to come back and stand on the young one's shoulders. Stick with the squad Glenn; they're a great unit together.
Having played against both the FC 1st team and PDL side, I think 1 or 2 maybe from the PDL side could step up to the 1st team, but not many of them would make a marked improvement to the current 1st team. And that is what you are after when you go up, you want to improve the team, not stay static.
Selwyn Div1 had an initial squad of 20 to begin with, and some in the club looked at the side as being a bit bloated, but we had a run of 6 1st team players out at the same time at one stage. I don't think I am in a position to tell Glenn what to do seeing his team was promoted and Selwyn weren't, but a decent squad size to begin with I think is vital for them. I want to see them do well, as they are a very good footballing team and Glenn is a very approachable, nice guy. The 21 game Div1 season will have been a big help this year
