ZB and The Press - is Mainland stuck in the 1900s? Unfortunately Vim, it's the curse of the early adopter, being ahead of the curve. I've used Twitter since 2009 and it's brilliant for live tweeting and banter. If Mainland want fan engagement they need to be be tweeting, instgrammimg and periscoping to get young (and not so young) eyeballs following, interacting wherever they are with their mobile screen - live.
Good points GG, I remember a couple of seasons ago reading an encyclical forwarded to all clubs about retaining and growing membership. It really felt like clubs were at the pointy end of the stick where we were being told what were we going to do about it in an ever changing fast paced world. As usual no acceptance from Mainland of their role as the governing body to lead or assist. I've been away from the game for a short while but like Vim says nothing seems to have changed. When are they going to accept
their responsibility to promote and develop the game above juniors? They can't say it's done through the Dragons, that's a separate entity.
Premier League my ass, it's just another 8 team Saturday league.
