Well put. So let me just take Bowls as a point re keeping and paying the young guns.
Some of the best national and international level players get flown from Chch to Wellington every Friday to play in the weekend competition up there.
This is all paid for by the clubs not the players, why because they want the best playing for them.and a winning club culture.
