How many did Nomads stick past Waimak today?
Heard that it was Waimak 1 Nomads 4 and understand ChCh United defeated Parklands and Selwyn overcoming Burwood.
Nomads were 1 nil down to almost half time. When a 45 yard free kick went sailing in as the Waimak keeper horribly misjudged it, combined with the wind and the sun and it went whistling in on the full. Second half was all Nomads, the young Waimak keeper does his best, but his age shows with some of his decisions. Nomads scored with last kick of the game off a penalty.
Was nowhere near the show of a game that Nomads vs Selwyn was on Saturday
Yeah young Keeper is only 16 I believe. Lots of potential. Been having a tough time behind a leaky defence. Can't see the benefit of him playing 'up' at this age, do more harm than good to his confidence and growth IMHO
