Significant day in the MPL with select big name players and coaches likely to be featuring in their final appearances for current clubs.
Managers out;
Halligan (poor season and sent packing).
Brown (Cash Tech looking for a freshen up and classier representative).
Players out;
Sigmund (marquee player struggling with injuries and aged body. Books have already been signed too).
Ogilvie (MPL bad boy still suffering mentally from stray kick out at Miramar fan. Career tainted).
Terris (using Dragons as his footballing farewell, two years too late?).
Looks like the MPL off-season will bring substantial name dropping to help determine how aforementioned clubs will fill the voids left by said departures.
Any additional information regarding club exits?
I'm interested in how the SW handles having no MPL or WPL presence. Hopefully not a player exodus from Halswell.
Fairly confident there will b new MPL Coaches 2017 season.
Well done Coastal MPL players and coach for attendFirst Kicks finale this morning.
