Pics and report on the abysmal performance by the Mainland Futsal mens team in Dunedin.

https://footballsouthnz.co.nz/Futsal2016/2016%20Nat...

Two spankings and lucky Southern took the foot off at what 6 nil up in the Sunday game.

Big ups [NOT] to the Mainland Dragons Futsal staff and executive for charging players $150 just to train in the wider squad.

Just trying to make a cash cow form some average players [exclude Lapslies} to get a team together.

Nothing wrong with players paying their way but that sum is a rip off as is the new revamped format.

A school gym hire on a regular basis would cost a squad of 20 players $2.50each for 90 mins session x 4 trainings a week x 10 weeks still leaves a lot of change left over for staff wages.  .

Question is are the SSPL Dragons going to be asked to pay to be part of a training squad?

This is the latest from THE Mainland website.
