So much THIS. Was seeking scores today and no-one from mainland, bays or cashmere could be bothered for a top of the table clash. Bays have made an effort but how can a club with the resources and cash that cashmere have not have a designated social media body? They haven't tweeted since 2016. Don't give a f#ck? dinosaurs? Or is there a reasonable reason?
Sorry Bays thought Gavin would get the info out so didn't bother tweeting plus was darned cold and difficult to tweet with gloves on!
Yes was bloody cold yesterday. Lesson learnt - Do not assume someone else is twitting, if at the same game.
Love your tireless work AW82, but I think all clubs should try to encourage more engagement from their members; and posting on social media should be fully utilised as part of that. Some clubs are fantastic - match day line-ups for senior men AND womens team, live tweeting, regular FB posting of club events, you know who you are ;). Others have "room for improvement". For a big club with plenty of cash, I can't see what the excuse would be.
Actually that's no excuse, it costs nothing to tweet. Just hard to watch and type but if I can do it anyone can. Just gotta remember to keep one hand on the zimmer frame in my excitement.
