Now have had a chance to check my MPL stats first need to point out that the game last night is not considered as part of the Mainland Premier League, it is a seperate competition, the Mainland Premier Qualifying League and the goals scored will not be considered as MPL goals as I understand it.
Also was not at the game but several Betting Sites show that Declan's goals were scored in the 46th, 50th and 56th minute so if this times are correct then hat-trick was scored in eleven minutes but is so far the only hat-trick in the MPQL and therefore the quickest and fastest.
Any way back to your question the quickest hat-trick scored in the MPL was to Greg Fetuz for Nomads against Ferrymead Bays on 24 June 2006, with Greg scoring in the 2nd, 3rd and 9th minutes so not only the quickest but also the fastest ever hat-trick scored. Nomads went on to win the game 5 - 3 with Greg scoring fourth of Nomads goal in the 86th with the other going to Andy Pitman (51st) with Bays goals scored by Brent Archer - in pen in the 22nd and Greg Draper in the 45th.

That Nomads v Bays game was played at Nunweek Park. On the sideline that day we had some of the best examples of NZ coaching talent including ex All Whites coach Allan Jones [only lost 5 of 19 games as AW coach] enjoying an afternoon watching.
Western now set to join Christchurch Technical and Nomads as the only teams to bounce back up to the MPL after being relegated the previous season.

To answer your question, AW82 has reminded us that this malarkey isn't officially part of the MPL, it's the MPQL which is a separate competition even though they keep their points from the MPL....
But yer. Sh!t team although I think Richmond were just as bad for a long time.

Two teams Woolstom Working Men's Club in 2002 (22 games) and Avon United 2005 (18 games) failed to pick up a single point and in 2004 New Brighton no wins, but three draws (18 games) and Richmond City in 2008 no wins and just one draw (21 games).
With Western’s imminent return to the MPL, I’m wondering about the state of MPL grounds for next season. Do I recall correctly that Walter Park was deemed unsuitable due to changing facilities and/or general pitch conditions? Has anything changed? Am I correct to assume Western will play home games at English Park?
With new decks at Tullet, Avonhead and Ferrymead Park, Garrick Memorial Park privately owned by the Woolston club, Foster Park operated by Selwyn District Council, and Uni now relegated, is it only Cuthberts Green that is an old style CCC owned pitch?

New (some would say well over used) Decks are still CCC owned pitches are they not, also assume Saxton Fields is owned by the Tasman District Council. Also Western have been busy ungraded the changing facilities at Walter Park - see pic from their facebook page.

What are the rules around changing facilities?
The away team one certainly has showers and a space to change (which was no different to other grounds that MPL teams have used). The home team changing shed definitely looks a lot better than the away one, but at the end of the day it's somewhere to change.
I don't see why Western shouldn't be allowed to play at Walter Park (unless there are some extra hidden rules)
