Wow, Waimak and Universities taking points of the frontrunners. These teams could make the final weeks very interesting

Yes and Waimak took points off Coastal the other week. Coastal face Technical next weekend so key game for the title race.

I'm planning on heading along to shoot this (my first game in Christchurch, ooh...)
What's the best place to find out about transfers? They seem to be posted here (I'm assuming from somewhere)

Cool. Who you shooting for? An Auckland club? Suggest it would be the courteous thing to do to get in touch with the clubs about filming anyway. Transfers are posted on the Mainland website but are a month out of date. Wouldn’t expect much mid season  transfer activity amongst the Chch women’s teams.

Yomcat shoots for himself, did a lot of it around Wellington with Photomac and Journeyman espically focusing on Wellington United. So I'm please to see he will be continuing it down there now that he has moved down to Christchurch.

Can follow his page here https://www.facebook.com/yomcatshoots/

I'm freelance (Yakcall sums it up nicelyish above). I've talked to Coastal already about covering the U19s, but I'm really missing getting out to a game every weekend and this seems like a good one to start at :)

I mean ground transfers, not player transfers. I don't want to show up at Coastal to find out it's been moved to English Park or wherever.

Great!  We welcome all publicity down here, especially the women's game. Yer transfers are rubbish, there is a page on Mainland Football with them but as you can see it was last done a month ago, and the time before that was a month earlier.

Not a lot of transfers happen in the women's game, however I think Coastal lost their reserve GK to Uni?

Fixture is at English Park - turf; so won’t be cancelled; er, unless major unless EQ.

So it's already been moved (I'm sure I only looked yesterday). Thanks :)

If anyone wants to say hi, I'll be the guy with two cameras (unless it's raining, in which case it'll be only one) in shorts...

I might not be at the KS Cup Semi. I've got a Wellington team who might make it and they have first dibs...

I am planning on flitting around the South Island league though. So two off-white cameras (one in the rain), shorts, trying not to look too creepy; it's probably me.

And I never got a Spam United shirt. Travesty!

Thanks.

This is the kind of thing I mean. I checked the draw on Monday or whenever and it was at Coastal's paddock at 1230. So the safest thing to do is to not decide which game to go to until the previow comes out? In Wellington (someone will call me out on this), top division games rarely get moved from the home ground of the club, so you never really have to worry about this.

Good luck to both Coastal Spirit and Universities for their NZ Football Kate Sheppard Cup ties away to Otago Universities and Dunedin Technical on Saturday.

Big game this weekend between Coastal and Waimakiriri. Fair to say coastal will have one hand on the league if they win here with games against Halswell and Uni to come, with Tech still to play Uni and Waimak. Waimak win puts Tech in the box seat if they beat Halswell.

Insteresting weekend ahead!

Would a win not still leave Waimak 3 points behind Tech with a game in hand and still to play Tech? I'd say a loss for Coastal would bring Waimak right into contention too
