what a shame western rebels have drawn coastal . would have been great to see how they played against some of the lesser teams.

Need to encourage more teams to enter, lessen the chance of drawing Coastal first up.

IIRC Western are only team to ever beat Coastal in this competition.

First test for Cashmere-sans-Longo tomorrow night v UC (who are considerably weaker than last year as has been noted here before). I wonder how many games Annalie will miss due to international duties this year? Also, presumably, some Waimak WPL players (and Coastal coach Gunn) will miss some games due to the NZ U15 Secondary Schools tour to Oz.
