Masters footy? what's the age restriction?

I`m pretty sure it is 35 and over.

It looks like a very competitive grade this year. Olympic have retired most of their Cap 2 side to this grade, Tawa and Brooklyn are 2 strong sides from  Masters 2 that got promoted. Our boys ( Dreamers) will have a challenge on our hands defending the title.

Friend plkayed yesterday and got a real run around. Was complaining aboutthe youth of the players he was facing. I guess when you are 54 and the opponent is 35 the legs may just want to say 'enough'.

There's talk of it becoming 40yrs and over...otherwise I can see there being as many Masters as there are open grades in a few years.

In Christchurch we have Masters grades (35+) and a Masters 45 grade (45+).
Masters grade numbers have been growing like topsy in recent years.
This year Masters 45+ has 2 divisions.
As it's played same time as the Mainland Premier League, NONE of these players attend Satdy arvo matches of Christchurch's top club teams.
Something's not right with this IMHO.

you can be any age, but you have to be amazing at golf.
