Nerds...

I played a game and a half yesterday & am paying for it today.

Finally feel like a master; inasmuch as my body says no...

masters games coming round again only a couple of months to go.

i am looking for a team to play for at the games in wanganui, would rather play in the over 45s but if i had to would play over 35s. do not want to play for a local  wanganui team as i play here all year and enjoy playing in a different team at masters games and tournaments.

Same ,I'm looking for a team and would prefer over 45 but  would play  in the whipper snapper  over 35's ,would be happy to organise a composite Welly/Fever team have strips balls etc just need some old fools who can still kick a ball and are up for a wild weekend in              W(h)anganui !

Just wanted to say thanks to anyone on here that competed in last weekends Masters Games here in Wanganui.

Had a great time in my first masters, and really enjoyed the spirited competition, even if the ground was like sandpaper on my poor keeper knees!

Hope to see some of you next time!

Got better as the day progressed.

Great morning today - sun shining, no wind.   Forecast for fine with 21.

Busy day for all teams in store

Speaking to a couple of other teams yesterday.   They had plans for last night.

Seems you won't be on your own.

Congratulations to Olympic who won the 35's with a win over Taupo in the final - went to penalties.

Watched their round robin games - Olympic won all six games, scoring 18 goals (I think) and conceding 0.

Capital Hearts, also from Wellington area, got third in this age grade.

Final results for all grades here http://www.nzmg.com/images/Wanganui/Sports/Results...
