From a discussion today, rumours have the centre back from wai united taken some form of payment for playing poorly against Tawa on Sunday.

How this was started.  Appearantely Dunki-wots-him name, the central defender for WU (who lives with Peter Rabo), had mentioned to Peter Rabo about taking payment to play poorly on Sunday.  Peter proceeded to ask him to move out, cause he didn't want anything to do with it.  Peter then got hold of Phil 'Millions' Keinzley who managed to track down Dunki at Lai's (the fijian now playing for Island Bay) place.  He asked him if the story was true and Dunki confessed.  The club appearantely had a emergency meeting last night to find out the ins and outs.

Maybe this is a shadow to take the gloss off Tawa thrashing them.  I watched the game over here on sunday and after plenty of thought and discussion, Dunki did play below par but then so did the rest of the team.  Tawa deserved the win and I will be interested in what comes of this.

I will hopefully keep you posted (unless 'Millions offers me money to keep my mouth shut!!!)

How this was started.  Appearantely Player A, a player for WU (who lives with Player B), had mentioned to Player B about taking payment to play poorly on Sunday.  Player B proceeded to ask him to move out, cause he didn't want anything to do with it.  Player B then got hold of Management who managed to track down Player A at Player C's  place.  He asked him if the story was true and Player A confessed.  The club appearantely had a emergency meeting last night to find out the ins and outs.

Folks, posted by TSMA.  On legal advice we have removed player names.  We may yet need to pull the whole thing.
