Alright, here's mine. Can't promise great spelling as i have had a few to drink

Birkenhead United vs East Coast Bays - US1 Premiership
A huge game for the club. Bays are the team everyone wants to beat. 19 wins in a row in the new US1 Premiership and current holders of the Chatham Cup. Boasting several current or former internationals they think they're better than us, which although kinda true still isn't nice. Mind you we have a former PNG international so ha bloody ha.
Anyways the game gets off to a quick start and Bays unsurprisngly have the best chances. They blow them all. We gain a foothold in the game and start to threaten their goal, but to no avail. Going forward we looked most dangerous with our Rory Delap-esque long throw ins causing the defence and dodgy keeper many problems. But unfortunately they dealt with all problems and we went in to the half satisfied at 0-0.
Early on in the second Bays take the lead. I was taking a leak at the time but by all accounts the goal was not too shabby. 1-0 Bays. All of sudden instead of collapsing like usual it's like we decided 'f**k this, let's put it to them' and suddenly dominated proceedings. Midway through the second half we won a free kick on the edge of the box. 'CMON MOZ 1-1 RIGHT HERE' i shouted. I shouted right. A slight deflection and the Birko deck erupted. 1-1.
A period of dominance followed. About 10 mins later our long throws finally came to fruition when player manager Malcolm flicked on Paddys long throw to make it 2-1. Utter delerium followed. I was giddy. Bays were furious.
Unfortunately it didn't last. About 10-15 mins from time Bays equalised with what i can say was a soft and rather scrappy equaliser (all count the same though dont they??). But we held on for the draw and a huge cheer went up. The first team to take points off Bays in 20 games. A fantastic achievement.
So to sum up for you lazy bastards who don't wanna read it alll: Birko 2 Bays 2. Thrilling game. We briefly led Bays and it felt amazing. 19 game winning run ended. Happy days

Three for me, and two for them.
