Maurice Tillotson has put together a 'bio site' with few philosophical add ons. Worth a read.

Cerebral Soccer.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

That's awesome, very interesting and well worth a look.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Enjoyed reading about the Stop out days. Older members may remember the glory days of that club at Te Whiti Park. some of the names mentioned brought back some memories.

Did a coaching course once that Maurice was one of the 'instructors' on. Nice fella, and a mine of coaching and footballing knowledge

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Great site, Maurice! Like Sthn Jeff I too enjoyed reading about the Stop Out days. And I was there on that infamous - but rather ezxciting day -when Dugdale 'struck' the ref. 'Struck' maybe not the accurate word. As I recall it: seeing that he was being red-carded Dugdale promptly nutted him with a 'Liverpool kiss'. The ref fell backwards, pole-axed (or possibly kop-axed). Ended Dugdale's career I think. Not sure about the ref's career.

Ken was banned for life but that was rescinded  and later coached the AW's  from 1998 tp 2002.

He reacted because he thought he was the only one being sent off, having retaliated. Andy Ven den Ede was the other guilty party.  As Maurice noted "Ken was under serious provocation when the incident of his dismissal occurred".

Hmmm... A double retaliation! Interesting. Cheers Mike.

Alan Pardew (2014) is just a beginner.
