Ouch, what a bunch of dickheads. I don't care how shabby a ref is this kind of behaviour is reprehensible. I hope that, if the papers reported the incident correctly, the players get the proper punishment.

matt stoneman used to ref in wanganui nickname matt the card loves giving out red cards seen him incite teams a few times,at a school boy tournament here a few years ago naenae college wanted to attack him several other people had to step onto the field to stop it happening,local teams in wanganui exept his native athletic hated him doing their games they all glad he is in the hawkes bay and not here,he is bad but i do agree players should not react like that even if he is an officious git.
