Duffy who cares!!! Dont know what benefit you get from winning the nelson first div! its been average since 98 at the very least!!

To be fair it's important in the fact that the winner gets to play of with the winner of Christchurch Div 1 for automatic entry to the Mainland Premier League which Duffy so desperately craves. Fully understand, been there done that.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

FC Nelson have named their president, he's the CEO of Port Nelson. Not sure of his name though but is a wealthy businessman.

Looking at the fixtures, are there 3 FC Nelson teams in the same grade? Metro, college and united?

Yes. They are running under the banner of FC Nelson but will still be split into their original teams for this season at least. In Chatham Cup they are just FC Nelson. FC Nelson Tahunanui is another but they will be a junior club still.

College Metro had combined last year but now they have split back to FC Nelson College and FC Nelson Metro.

As much as I loathe to encourage chat on this subject, how come the game has to be replayed?

the 4-0 victory has to be replayed because it wasn't finished. It was called off before fulltime due to the weather. Nelson Suburbs reserves vs FC Nelson United was not even played.

Oh ok. So it didn't get past the point of no return whatever minute that is. 60?

Is there such a thing?

Well I thought there was a point (just like back to the future part 3) of no return. If a game is called off at (guessing) 59 minutes 59 seconds then it has to be replayed however if it got to 60 mins then the result stands.

Obviously not sure on exact timing but thought this was the idea.

Come on guys what's happening in the top of the south? Is both of the Richmond big boys outta here? How come? And they have now got one of Suburb's players to replace?

This isn't a repeat of the old Richmond is it?

According to the local paper Jordon Yong is playing his last game for Richmond on Monday in the Chatham Cup game against Suburbs and former Suburbs player Matt Elliott has transferred to Richmond but is not available for the cup game.
There is no word that Joe Green is leaving but chinese whiispers say he is also returning to England to take up a coaching role.

Jordon Yong and Matt Shaw are going this week and Joe Green is going at the end of the month so I presume he will be available for the next round of the cup
