What right does anyone have to tell you which club you can or can not play for.

Tell that to the Nike Cup lads who want to play for schools this year and will not be able to transfer because FIFA says they cant...

FFS - The rules are there for a reason. If people bothered to read them before participating, they could decide if they want to play Nike cup or not. It's that simple. Why moan about the rules after the event? Same with FTC / Private Provider arguement. If the choice is made to go with Ole, APFA, Burnley, whatever, then supposedly unless you do 75% (or 80% or ??) you have no (really?) chance of NTC.

Plenty of players/parents choose Private Providers over FTC, and don't give a rats about NTC. If players are good enough (usually helped by good coaching which contrary to MF/NZF belief IS available outside of their "pathway")  then they will go on to higher pathways anyway, even if they don't end up paying their $$ to NZF/MF.

Not FIFA this is a NZF rule just for the Nike Cup.

He would not have to transfer if the schools were playing in their own competition a player could play for them and not for the club if he wished or play for both.

If one of the Waitakere lads gets picked up by a professional club during their campaign, I can't see them not going.

I wasn't "moaning". I am well aware of the situation, both going in, and now its over. I was citing an example of people having the right to tell people which club they can and cannot play for, which I think I did.

You can ascertain what your opponent is afraid of by observing the means by which he attempts to frighten you
