Preseason training for North Wellington starts tonight at Raroa Intermediate 6pm, thereafter Tuesdays and Thursdays same place same time.

Come along and be part of a friendly club that is going through some exciting changes over the next few years. A new artificial turf, new clubrooms with associated training facilities, a new coaching structure, a focus on player development for both Men and Women , partnership with the local community and schools to develop youth football and provide a structured pathway to the senior game.

Of course the biggest draw is the opportunity to play at tropical Alex Moore park.

Along with continuing to grow what is arguably the biggest senior club in Wellington (23 teams last year, up to 24 expected this season) we aim to become the preferred destination for players in the area and ensure our mens and Womens senior 1st teams reach and win the elite Wellington Football competitions.

For those players under 17 (15-17) we are currently undertaking trials for the clubs elite U17 team to go to the new Auckland City tournament  at Easter. Auckland City have big plans for this and hope that it will become the defacto National U17 club tournament (teams are going from the South Island, Auckland, Wellington Tauranga, Waikato and I believe there has also been interest from teams in Australia and the US). Only 3 teams from Wellington are going so this is your chance to make a name for yourself on the national stage (highlights of the tournament will be shown on SKY TV). If you think you are up to it (or you think your son/brother/nephew is)  PM me and I’ll pass your details along to the coach.

I remember it well. Did my dues there in the Central League about a million years ago. Crap field. Nice strip though.
