except the fact that your example happened means my example wouldn't happen.
Northern Leagues
he has been in the all whites squad a couple of times but hasn't yet got any game time. He is definately eligible and based upon yesterdays evidence should be playing ahead of all the players mentioned earlier
was at the Onehunga Sports v Birko game yesterday.
Not quite sure how OS didn't score a hatful as Birko only had 4 usual starters as the coach decided to rest most of the team for the Chatham Cup! It must have been the youngest team ever to play in the league.
Average age of 19 on Saturday. Youngest Birko side this season.
Suburbs drop points
23rd July 2016 Melville United 1 – Eastern Suburbs AFC 1
Final score now Melville United 3 – Eastern Suburbs AFC 0
• 30th July 2016 Eastern Suburbs AFC 3 – Three Kings United 4
Final score now Eastern Suburbs AFC 0 – Three Kings United 3
So they lose 1 point - Helps Melville at the bottom of the league though
You'd think the goalnet system would have something built in so that if you attempted to register a International clearance after 30 June it would let you know you couldn't - or am I just being silly?
What player is it?

I think you can transfer in International players under 'exceptional circumstances' after the transfer window has closed on June 30th (I could be wrong tho), so maybe it allows International Clearances to be registered after that date because of that situation? All very murky in the world of AFF eligibility, again!
Hello there,
You can transfer players internationally in designated transfer windows, but to be eligible to compete in northern league the transfer needs to have been entered into the system before midnight on June 30 of that season. Which was not the case here.
So Tim could be internationally transferred with a view towards playing for Eastern Suburbs in the summer national league - but not the 2016 winter.
Two points gratefully accepted. Suburbs not appealing.
amateur. Do NZF personnel also have club admin roles up there?
I find it interesting how you guys back-date these infringements to prior games
AFF once again stopping people playing Football.....

It's a fair rule
really bodes well for the national league this does
Guys, there's nothing new or different here, the June 30 rule has been in existence forever.
There is no NZF dimension to this.
Plain old fashioned cock-up, as Eastern Suburbs have acknowledged, to their credit.

How so?
All it does it stop someone playing football.
Young Kiwi kid returning home to NZ wants to play
Surely that would be considered to be circumstances beyond his control if he has been released by Club overseas? There is a clause in NZF regulations surrounding exceptional circumstances.

Probably wasnt smartest idea then for AFF to memo all clubs highlighting that ITCs could be applied for after the deadline? If they are not eligible to play then why would clubs need to apply for ITC after the deadline?
There has been numerous cases in the past were players have been deemed eligible provided ITC was applied for before June 30 but subsequently cleared after it
sorry- when was the ITC applied for?
Taking it case by case just opens it up for a complete shark fest.
AFF memo 'highlighting that ITCs could be applied for after the deadline' was sent *after* Eastern Suburbs were found out, wasn't it?
i.e. was warning others not to do the same

No it was sent June 23rd
Strange season in NRFL this year, several teams had one hand on promotion to premier league but come the business end some bizzare results.
Manurewa now look to be in the box seat with MAP still an outside chance
In Premier League one of Western Springs or Bay Olympic will be joining Tauranga and Melville in Div 1 next season.
Birkenhead beat Three Kings to give themselves an outside shot at the title, but Central still favourites with Three Kings chasing hard.
FHM have had a great second half of the season.
Going to be a turf next season
Glenfield are a shame to the league. After the game against ECB it all kicked of in the tunnel. Not really to sure what happened but after the whistle Fenerdis got double red carded one for calling the assistant ref a fudgeing homo. Gwyther who scored 4 goals then got sent of after the game as well. They then looked like they were trying to fight the ref after the game.
Was hard to see though

Glenfield were a disgrace!!
After winning 4-1 going off like right tossers - the officials did not deserve that treatment.
Glenfield's true nature is painfully obvious. Club is a disgrace.
Went to Central vs Eastern Suburbs today. Really good game. I really want to like and respect Central, they play some great football. Unfortunately I can't because they're just whining little sharks who won't shut up.
what was the score?
2-1, Suburbs scored very early and sat deep. Central scored probably around the 70th and on the 82nd to win.

Papakura lost 2-3 at home to MAP, so they're down on goal difference. A draw would have seen Hibiscus Coast go down instead. 'Kura just can't seem to convert a massive junior club and big catchment area into anything tangible in the Seniors. A sad indictment on their inability to retain players.
Manurewa will go up to Prems if they beat Waitakere at home in a couple of weeks (rescheduled match). If they don't, then MAP join the Waitaks in going up.
Good on Franklin for staying up in Div 1 - they looked like they'd struggle for much of the season, but kicked on late to live for another year.
And I see Big Kev has done good things at Manukau, who'll be in Div 1 next year.
Would be great if Waiheke Island managed to get up to Div 2 - how does the Conference promotion work?

Conference winner promoted
Conference runner up plays off against WaiBOP champion - winner of that promoted

I appreciate the humor but I completely disagree. It was pretty obvious Suburbs were not pressuring the ball in the slightest and simply dropping deep. You could even hear them saying exactly that to each other.

If that was the case I think it was a big mistake. Central are to good to simply allow them time on the ball. Eventually they will get through!
Birkenhead played them a few weeks ago and had a game plan that worked very well. Press, press, press. Chase everything, close them down quickly and get in their faces (in the nicest possible way of course). Central hated it and really struggled to get their passing game going. they were whinging and moaning the whole time and eventually lost 4-3

I was there too, lovely afternoon down the St...

Waiheke on equal points with Lynn Avon, but with two games in hand. Glen Eden also have two games in hand, but are a point behind.
Waiheke v Glen Eden this weekend will probably be a gritty one - but with Lynn Avon finishing their season, it'll be whoever wants it more.
Waiheke playing mid-table West Auckland and bottom Norwest in their other games - going to try and get along to one of them on the 10th or 17th.
Glen Eden have Bucklands Beach and South Auckland Rangers in theirs.
Vamos Argentina!
Went to Birko v FHM yesterday.
Finished 2-2.
Birko rested a few (Burfoot, Davis, Parkinson) - either injury or suspension worries in view of Cup Final.
Birko totally dominant but found themselves 1-0 down at HT.
Equalised from what looked a dodgy penalty from 50-60 yards away.
Then Bale put FHM in front before a late equaliser by Birko.
For someone who is on reportedly $1000 a match De Vries was a disgrace- got subbed late on - showed little or no interest in the proceedings. Can't see him being a professional footballer with so little pride in performance ?
sounds to be a common theme this...

so wait he is a disgrace because he is supposedly on $1,000 or because he showed little interest?
With SSP coming up soonish I am surprised he is still playing to be honest - he got them out the relegation battle so his job has been done. plus I still highly doubt the figure that has been bandied around.
