on the NL2 promotion battle.
both games for waitemata are at anderson park now and also interesting game tonight because manukau could win the series since they already beat old blues.

Wonder if waitemata can spoil their party. thoughts?

No idea on the strengths of the 2 sides but will be interested to see the result, as would Old Blues I imagine - they'll have to hope for Waitemata to beat Manukau then in turn try put a few past Waitemata to up their goal diff.

I'm hoping for a Waitemata win, already a heap of South Auckland clubs in Div2, would be good to have a Westy team there.

1-1 at Cambridge. Looks like Cambridge goal was a peno.
Advantage Manukau you would have to say with the away goal, but Cambridge still in the hunt and a better position than I thought they would be in after the first leg.

Cambridge finished with ten and Manukau nine ... should make for a lively affair at Bill McKinlay Park from 2pm next Saturday, with a place in the 2012 Lotto Northern League Second Division the reward for the winners.

Well, Cambridge will have to win their first game of the season to stay in the league. I may attend, go Cambridge!

Or draw 2-2.

Three for me, and two for them.

Manukau City 3-0 Cambridge, 4-1 on aggregate, and back in the Northern League for the first time since 2004.

Watched the game. Manukau deserved the win. With that squad, I think they'll struggle in the NRFL though

Heard Ricki Espinosa was running around with them. Is there a club he has not been at?

Is he any relation to Julia Espinoza, an old acquaintance of mine who played in the MCAFC Ladies Div 2 team this year?

He's coaching them.
