OLYMPIC 50th ANNIVESARY

Newtown park, Sunday 10th May

UPDATE � IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL GUESTS 

We are going ahead with the Anniversary RAIN OR SHINE! 

There will be to 2 plans for the day (Plan A and Plan B), dependent on the weather and ground condition.

The whole day will be dedicated to the club; it will include junior entertainment such as a bouncy castle, Mr. whippy ice cream, sausage sizzle, as well as mini games with Costa Barbarouses, Leo Bertos and other Phoenix players handing out the prizes and signing autographs.

For the older crowd we have a traditional Greek souvlaki, Greek music and a classic match between past players. Bar and ground clubroom facilities will be open for the whole day and will be the venue for the after match function. Also on this day Olympics First team will be playing Taranaki at 2pm. 

PLAN A :

PROGRAMME:
10.00am � ALL Olympic Junior football players to be registered
10:30am � Junior�s games kick off
11:30am � Wellington Phoenix sign autographs & host Junior Prize giving
12.15 � 1pm � Official Speeches and Legends Game featuring past and present players
1:00pm � All on pitch action stops � Central league Teams warm up
2:00 � Olympic vs. Taranaki kicks off
4:00 � Clubrooms open for post match function
 

PLAN B:

Junior and Legends games cancelled. ALL JUNIOR PLAYERS (that's YOU John Gerondis) and SUPPORTERS still expected to turn up!  

PROGRAMME:
11am � Newtown park open
11:30am � Wellington Phoenix sign autographs & host Junior Prize giving
12.15 � 1pm � Official Speeches

1:00pm � Central league Teams warm up
2:00 � Olympic vs. Taranaki kicks off
4:00 � Clubrooms open for post match function

Just like to say thanks to all who came out and supported.

Wasnt the best of days but turned out not bad in the end.

I feel sorry for those of you who didnt attend and missed out on the legends game. Wow, good fun.
