On the back the successful 2010 Professional Opportunities courses West Bromwich Albion FC and Premier Skills will be running 2 courses in Hamilton and Auckland in January 2011.

A member of the West Bromwich Albion academy coaching staff will once again be in attendance to assess and scout players.  An American scout will also be present at the 2 courses to scout and recommend players for American College Soccer programs.

After the 2010 courses Stefan Krystman, Jack Bladen and Harshae Raniga were invited over to the UK for a further trial with West Bromwich Albion - After a successful trial, Harshae Raniga has been invited back for an extended period.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be looked at by professional club without having to leave the country.

The courses are open to players aged 13-19.

We promoted this last year and I took a group of 12 players up to Hamilton for it and it was top drawer.

I'd recommend it to anyone.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

What happens in the trial? Is it straight game or are there drills and such?

It's a coaching course - so there is loads of coaching done including technical work ("drills and such") and matches.

It's not so much a trial, but the opportunity exists for players who stand out.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
