My name is Adam Luque; I am 16 years of age and attend Westlake Boys High School and I live with my mum and dad and younger sister and brother on the Whangaparaoa Peninsular. I have been given the opportunity to go overseas in a soccer tour over in the UK and play against a selection of professional soccer teams (clubs like Chelsea, Ipswich Town Aston Villa and many more).

I play locally for Hibiscus Coast AFC Under 17s and also have been selected to play for the reserves and first team this year, I have also been selected to trial at National Level.

The cost of this tour is $5850.00. This cost covers returned flights, accommodation, insurance, food and transportation to each of the games. This tour takes place in September 2008 and duration of the tour is for three weeks. I am fund raising at present and am asking you if you can help in any way (financial, raffle prizes, advice).

This, one in a life time opportunity, not only to play soccer against British teams but to have the potential prospect of being noticed and fulfilling my dream of becoming a professional soccer player.

If you are able to assist, please contact me on;

Hey Adam

Best of luck with your fundraising and your trip.  Be sure to get someone to put you forward to the Yellow Fever Scholarship later this year when it comes around again.

Can you give us any more information of the team that will be touring - is it your Under 17's team?  Who is the coach and what position do you play?

Here's to living the dream....

PM me your bank account details or address and I'll either bank deposit a small amount or send you a cheque to get you started.

Ipswich Town is not a professional club.

I will not be able to contribute financially, but let me know when you get to the UK and I will take you out for some snakebites and hookers.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Judging by the hookers comment he'll do it with pleasure.

You didn't happen to play against the mighty Birkenhead Ressies on Saturday did you?

Anyways best of luck with your trip man

Three for me, and two for them.
