Its gonna be hot.

Since Damian aint doing the one we enjoyed so much last summer - get into this one. Bex Sowden is sorting it and I reckon it will be a good time.
7 Venues - incl Wgtn 17th Jan and Takapuna 13th Feb

Grab your mates and enter a team in the competitive or social section of this years 4v4 Beach Soccer Series which will be hitting 7 of the hottest summer spots this year. Your team can be made up of any combo of guys and chicks with 5 players eligible to play per game (4 on the pitch with 1 sub).

You are guaranteed a minimum of 2 games so its a great way to soak up the sun, plus there are loads of great prizes up for grabs. Entry is $50 per team but be in quick as places are limited. Fill out the Entry Form now and deposit your entry fee to secure a place now! You can enter as many venues as you want. Minimum age of 15. Bibs will be provided on the day but teams are more than welcome to come in their own team uniforms

I believe it turns out that this is a complete lie.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Romeign (sorry dunno how that is spelt) brothers beat the Red Sox boys in the final. Sox beat my team Who's Ya Dadi in a tight semi. Renee was prob better than all the blokes except for maybe beach football specialist James Potter who was scoring for fun.

Well organised Bex Feverish2010-01-17 16:59:10

Went down to watch- a few tweaks and its a quality product

Field dimensions need work, but thats a limitiation in Wgtn

I think the Kapiti Coast is the best place in Wgtn region but that would make it a destination event and exclude the passer-bys

Fiction.

Good fun down at the beach though, well done to the Tawa lads.

Well organised and decent prizes too.

Went down and also had a look, we competed in the final last year and to be honest the competition this year was pretty poor. The setup last year was better, the balls this year looked like balloons. Damien needs to do it next year in order to get in the good teams.
The rules this year looked pretty average in regards to team numbers etc...
