Anyone know what date the Central league promotion/relegation matches will be penned in for?

Looking for to seeing Fiji Utd (Wairarapa Utd) in central league next year

The Rod Pelosi final is this weekend. The final between Cru-Bar Maycenvale United and Red Sox Stewarts Powerbase, which will be played  at Memorial Park, at 2.00pm this Saturday.

Then on Sep 6 the Central league play off games begin with the winner of this game playing Wairarapa Utd. I think its a home and away thing!

Thinks quietly  - "Mmmm  ...in order to do so they would have to vanquish mighty Stop out".

Announces: Never! Won't happen!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

No  [ don't really know about Ivan England] but all matches  below div 3 are only
" friendly games this week "  I believe. Looks like 1st round results will decide the leagues this season.

Pfftt, Wai Utd beat Lower Hutt and the otehr teams that loaded their team with Central League Players.

Remember Chatham Cup last season? Wairarapa Utd got through to the quarters...I hope stop out are shaking in their boots.

I heard we have to play off with another team before Stop Out though??

The winner of this home and away (Sep 6 and 13 I presume) will play SO in home and away

Lower Hutt didnt drop any Central League players for this game and Wairarapa Coach even thanked them for not doing it. Facts go a long way to backing up an arguement Caseym.

shame we cant watch any of these play off games, would have been a lark

that is the first season i have ever been inovlved with at any level in which the team Ive played for has not managed to complete its full season. Fair call to axe our last match (BNU v Naenae) on Cap Footy's part as the result would have had no bearing on final positions.

any reason why the playoff games have all been moved so far? still have goals up at Kelburn

Maybe to do with the grounds 'officially' having been handed over to cricket. I'm not sure if any of the grounds they are using are also cricket grounds (or at least number 1 cricket grounds for the big cricket teams).... I didn't have a close look.

Why they chose for the play-offs to be the games furthest away I'm not so sure....maybe they figured the other grounds were in the best nick. Or they just didn't want everyone to see the Central League teams playing in lower division play-offs.
